COMPOSITION:
aluminum chloride 25%, water Ph.Eur., excipients.
INTENDED USE
ALUSTAT GEL is intended for use during dental treatment to staunch slight gingival bleedings.
Aluminium chloride in the product has the vasoconstrictive effect on tiny blood vessels, as a result of which the gingival swelling and slight bleedings decrease.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Do not use the product for patients with hypersensitivity to the product’s components.
PRECAUTIONS
Before taking an impression, ensure that you remove the preparation to avoid inhibiting the polymerisation of the impression material. Aluminium chloride can adversely affect the bonding strength of dentin to tooth restoration materials.
ALUSTAT GEL has cytotoxic potential. The use of products with aluminium chloride contents may cause local and temporary tissue damage.
Irritating to the mucous membranes of the oral cavity, skin and eyes.
In case of contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
If swallowed, do not induce vomiting.
Drink plenty of water.
Seek medical advice. Use a cofferdam, disposable gloves, safety goggles/visors and protective clothing when handling the product. Keep out of reach of children.
Any serious incident involving the product should be reported to the manufacturer and the competent authority of the State in which the user or patient is domiciled.
STORAGE
Store in original packaging below 25°C.
Expiry date is placed on the main container. Once container is open, the expiry date
does not change if the container is securely closed after each use.
HANDLING THE PRODUCT CONTAINER
Empty containers should be disposed of responsibly or returned to the manufacturer.
PACKAGING
Syringe of 5 ml or 10 ml, dispenser, connector, disposal applicators.
