INTENDED USE
This medical device is intended for use together with rubber dam during dental treatment to isolate the working area. It enables to place rubber dam in oral cavity in right position.
- Frames stabilize the stretched RUBBER-DAM in order to protect the sof tissues. Rubber dam should be situated and streched in a way avoiding any unevennesses.
- Forceps with the opening degree resistance are used for putting on and taking off clamps. Use the foreceps to stretch the clamp so that it’s wings become tense.
- Rubber-Dam punch is used for cutting holes in the RUBBER-DAM. Adjust the hole diameter to fit the tooth the clamp is being fitted on. The punch has 6 holes of different diameter. To isolate anteriors or premolars use the holes of small diameter. Bigger holes should be used to isolate molar teeth. The biggest hole is for the tooth with fixed clamp.
- Clamps are used to stabilize the RUBBER-DAM inside the oral cavity.

HANDLING DENTAL TOOLS MADE OF STAINLESS STEEL
Special processes have been undertaken during the manufacture of the dental instruments to ensure corrosion-resistance. In spite of this, the durability of these dental instruments depends on their proper use and correct maintenance.
CLEANING, RINSING, WASHING
The packaged instruments are non – sterile. Before sterilisation these new instruments should be washed thoroughly with warm water and using detergent. Before each use these dental instruments must be sterilised.
STERILISATION
- All (reusable) dental instruments must be disinfected, then washed out to remove detergent and then dried before sterilization. Ultrasonic cleansing is recommended in particular as the most effective sterilization. Instruments should be sterilized in accordance with national requirements.

- Steam autoclave 134°C, for 5 minutes
PRECAUTIONS
Adhere to the instructions included and the additional guidelines for cleaning and sterilisation of the instruments.
STORAGE
- Dental instruments should be stored in temperatures ranging between 5-30°C.
- Before use protect the instrument against contamination or damage of the material structure (cracks, bends, fractures, peeling, etc.).
- Failure to adhere to the above stated instructions decreases instrument durability and reduces instrument lifetime.
